Environment, Health and Safety
Health & Safety Statement 
E&F Group of Companies prides itself on its conversance with construction and manufacturing Health & Safety issues and edicts. We continually strive to ensure that all our site, factory and office workers are best equipped in Health & Safety knowledge to deal with any every situation that may arise throughout the working day.
For matters outside our knowledge base we bring in independent consultants and trainers, chiefly in the form of H & S Consultants Daniel Connal Partnership, who guide us through latest alterations to H & S law and train us accordingly. Each site could be inspected on an ad-hoc basis by our consultants, and we find that this system keeps us all on our toes.
When clients entrust us with their works we work hard to achieve their expectations that their sites will be run safely, efficiently and to the latest HSE guidelines.
Environmental Awareness
At EF Group we take our environmental awareness seriously, and source environmentally friendly products wherever possible. All our major suppliers have an Environmental Policy, which state that a large percentage of their wood is sourced from FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) and PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes. We also only source paints that have an Environmental Charter for pre and post usage.
Recycling
EF Group tries to maximise all opportunities for recycling. This includes sending all unusable metal for re-cycling locally; paper and cardboard are sent to our local Council for re-cycling; sawdust and wood chippings are burnt to heat the factory, subsequently impacting favourably on the environment.
